Johnson says Kushner ‘not directly involved’ in Trump administration after reported meeting with Jeffries

Speaker Mike Johnson, a Louisiana Republican, downplayed a reported meeting between President Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries. On Fox News's 'The Sunday Briefing,' Johnson told host Peter Doocy, 'I don't know what that's about. I know Jared has interest in lots of other things going on.' Johnson indicated Kushner is not directly involved in the Trump administration.
