Mexico Stresses Sovereignty in US Cooperation

Mexico's foreign minister Roberto Velasco Álvarez said the country maintains a strong relationship with the US but insists security cooperation must respect Mexico's sovereignty and territorial integrity. He expressed cautious optimism about trade negotiations, seeking relief from US tariffs on automobiles and steel, in an interview on Bloomberg This Weekend.
