Trump says ‘we protect our cities’ after saying Iran could ‘take out’ Los Angeles or San Diego

President Trump, at a San Antonio rally, said 'we protect our cities' after earlier suggesting Iran could 'take out' Los Angeles or San Diego. His remarks were aimed at galvanizing voters behind Texas Republicans ahead of the midterms. Trump's comments drew criticism for their incendiary nature, but he sought to reassure supporters of his administration's defense posture.
