Democrats cling to slim House advantage in new poll

The Democratic Party still holds a slim advantage in chances to retake control of the U.S. House this November, according to a new poll released on Saturday. A Washington Post-Ipsos survey found registered voters prefer Democrats by 3 percentage points, with 48 percent favoring Democratic candidates and 45 percent supporting Republican candidates.
