Defense contractor Anduril will invest $3.7 billion in a new shipyard at Sparrows Point, Baltimore, to manufacture Virginia-class submarine parts. The company secured up to a $2.9 billion U.S. Navy contract to establish the 2 million square-foot facility, dubbed Arsenal-2, which will create more than 3,000 jobs in Maryland.
