Qubic Halts Blockchain After $1.4 Million Wallet Hack

Qubic paused its layer-1 blockchain on Sunday after an attacker drained about $1.4 million from over 1,400 wallets. The theft was linked to weak wallet seeds created on iPhones, iPads, Safari on Mac, and an older Qubic iOS app. About 87.1% of stolen funds remain frozen, and MEXC froze related assets.
