A new system developed by Amy Phung, SM '23, PhD '26, and her advisor helps remotely operated vehicles see through sediment clouds stirred up on the seafloor. The system allows cameras to see through murky waters, reducing the need to wait for dust to settle. This could improve underwater exploration and operations.
