GitLab CVSS 10 File-Read Flaw Draws In-the-Wild Probes After Disclosure

GitLab released patches for multiple flaws, including CVE-2026-85706, a maximum-severity path traversal in the repository commits API. The vulnerability, with a CVSS score of 10.0, allows unauthenticated users to read arbitrary files from the server. In-the-wild probes were observed within hours of disclosure.
