BambooToken Malware Uses MQTT to Control Windows and Linux Systems

Cybersecurity researchers disclosed a multi-platform campaign using the MQTT protocol to control Windows and Linux systems. The malware family, codenamed BambooToken, has been active since at least February 2023 and has targeted organizations across Asia and South America. The campaign uses MQTT as a communication channel.
