Will Be 'Extremely Difficult' For The FOMC To Not Raise Rates Says Richards

Bond traders see over a 90% chance the Federal Reserve will raise its benchmark rate by a quarter point from the current 3.5%-3.75% range on Wednesday. Kitty Richards of the Groundwork Collaborative said it will be extremely difficult for the FOMC to not raise rates. Markets have priced in about 23 basis points of tightening.
