Zest Protocol launched a mainnet demo for bitcoin-backed USDC loans, capped at 0.001 BTC per user. The system lets native BTC on the Bitcoin network back borrowing on Ethereum without leaving Bitcoin. It offers bitcoin holders a way to unlock liquidity while retaining custody of their coins.
