MSCI Proposes Screening Out Non-Operating Companies From Global Indexes

MSCI, a global index provider, has proposed screening out non-operating companies from its indexes. A May 2026 simulation identified Strategy, Yellow Cake PLC, and Metaplanet as potential deletions, while three other unspecified companies were placed on a watchlist for possible exclusion.
