Coldcard's official X account was hijacked on Sunday, October 11, 2026, and used to publish a phishing post in the brand's name. The Bitcoin hardware wallet maker's account pushed a fake alert targeting its Mk4, Mk5, and Q devices. Users are advised to avoid clicking links from the compromised account until control is restored.
