President Trump said Friday he directed the Department of Justice to file a lawsuit blocking certification of the Alaska Senate election if Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan loses in November. DOJ filed the suit Thursday, claiming a similarly named candidate could confuse voters and affect the outcome.
