Dangerous New Android Malware Infecting Phones, Stealing Banking Credentials and Other Sensitive Data: Report

Newly discovered RedHook malware is secretly hijacking Android phones and stealing banking credentials by abusing the device's Wireless Debugging feature. Cybersecurity firm Group-IB reports the malware gives hackers powerful remote control to steal sensitive data. The malware turns the device's own developer tools against users to infect phones.
