Tariffs Could Bring Canada Auto "To Its Knees"

President Trump vowed this week to hike tariffs on Canadian cars, trucks, automotive parts, and steel to 50% at the start of next year as part of an ongoing trade war threat. Linda Hasenfratz, Executive Chair of Linamar, said such high tariffs would 'cripple the industry' after decades of free trade.
