Judge blocks Democrats redistricting push in Maryland

A Maryland judge blocked an effort Wednesday that would have proposed a constitutional amendment redrawing the state's congressional districts to residents, dealing another setback to Democratic redistricting efforts. Judge Robert Thompson ruled against House Bill 2100, signed into law by Gov. Wes Moore on Aug. 5, calling the wording flawed. The ruling is the latest in ongoing redistricting disputes.
