Ripple Expands XRP Payments With New AI Standard

Ripple added Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) support to version 1.1 of its XRPL AI Starter Kit, enabling XRP payments for AI agents and automated services. MPP, developed by Stripe and Tempo, joins x402 as supported standards, giving XRPL developers more options for machine-based payments and expanding XRP's utility in AI-driven transactions.
