Federal regulators are investigating White House teleprompter operator Gabriel Perez for allegedly trading on prediction market Kalshi using knowledge of Trump's speech text, including the State of the Union. Perez won over $100,000 on such trades, sources said. The CFTC has discussed a settlement that could include returning profits. Federal prosecutors are also involved in the probe.
