Ethereum delayed the Glamsterdam upgrade on its Hoodi testnet after security firm ChainSecurity found that some smart contracts could permanently record operations meant to remain retryable. The activation, scheduled for October 26, 2026, was postponed due to problems with the upgrade's gas changes.
