FEC electronic filing system hit with hours-long outage

The Federal Election Commission's electronic filing system has been down for hours on Tuesday, with IT teams working to restore service. The FEC's incident page noted the issue was under investigation since Monday night. The outage disrupts campaign finance reporting, potentially delaying disclosure of contributions and expenditures ahead of deadlines.
