Optimum says Ethereum block propagation is 2.42x faster than the default network

Optimum's mump2p protocol went live on Ethereum mainnet on October 20, 2026, delivering blocks 2.42 times faster than the default network. Sixteen node operators run the software, including all 12 in ether.fi's validator set, where adoption is now mandatory. The parallel route aims to speed up block propagation across the network.
