DoorDash is in advanced talks to acquire Instacart parent Maplebear for roughly $17 billion, according to people familiar with the matter. The deal, reported by Bloomberg, would combine two of the largest US food-delivery and grocery platforms. No final agreement has been reached, and terms could still change, the sources said.
