Daxin Resurfaces in Taiwan Alongside Stupig Pre-Login SYSTEM Backdoor

The advanced malware Daxin, a kernel-mode rootkit previously attributed to a China-linked threat actor and documented by Symantec in March 2022, has resurfaced after more than four years within a Taiwan manufacturing firm. It was found alongside a previously unreported backdoor called Stupig, which provides pre-login SYSTEM access.
