PNOE’s new face mask wants to make lab-grade breath testing a self-serve affair

PNOĒ, a Malden, Mass.-based startup, launches a sleeker self-serve breath-analyzing mask on October 1 that lets gym-goers measure VO₂ max and other metabolic markers in eight minutes without a trained operator. The device replaces the company's earlier model, which resembled Bane's mask, and aims to bring lab-grade breath testing to everyday fitness settings.
