Pentagon panel to study 2021 COVID vaccine mandate

The Pentagon announced Wednesday it will convene a panel to study the 2021 COVID-19 vaccine mandate for the military. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth directed the nonpartisan National Academy of Public Administration to review decisions and execution of the rule. The mandate led to dismissal or departure of more than 8,700 service members.
