FCA Opens UK Crypto Gates More Than a Year Before Rules Hit

Starting Sept. 30, crypto firms can apply for full FCA authorization in the UK, but the regime begins Oct. 25, 2027. Firms must apply by Feb. 28, 2027, to stay. Existing applicants can continue serving customers, including new business, during the transition period.
