Cooper leads Whatley by at least 7 points in new NC Senate polls

New polling released Monday shows North Carolina Democratic Senate candidate Roy Cooper leading Republican Michael Whatley by at least 7 points, weeks ahead of the November midterms. The Trafalgar Group's poll showed Cooper at 48.8% and Whatley at 40.9%. Cooper also has larger support among different age demographics, according to the poll.
