New RemControl Android banking malware targets users in Europe and Canada

A new Android malware-as-a-service platform called RemControl is targeting users in Europe and Canada through malvertising campaigns that impersonate the TVTap IPTV application. The malware steals banking credentials and two-factor authentication codes, allowing attackers to drain accounts. Security researchers warn that the service is being offered on underground forums.
