Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp on Monday signed an executive order suspending the state's gas tax for 30 days, effective 12:01 a.m. EDT Tuesday. The order halts the motor fuel excise tax of 33.3 cents per gallon for gasoline and 37.3 cents per gallon for diesel, as the Iran war drives gas prices higher.
