Solana Enters 350ms Era With 300ms Slot Time Upgrade Next in Line

Solana reduced its target slot time from 400ms to 350ms, the first major reduction, starting a four-stage plan that could reach 200ms. Developers identified 300ms as the next major target. Shorter slots reduce confirmation latency and shorten epoch duration. Agave v4.2 is expected to support this upgrade.
