Foodtastic Offers $720 Million for Canada’s MTY Food

Foodtastic Inc. offered to acquire MTY Food Group Inc. for about C$1 billion ($720 million) after two earlier proposals were rejected. The offer was detailed in a letter reviewed by Bloomberg News. MTY, a Canadian franchisor, has not yet commented on the new bid.
