Banco Central del Uruguay to Discuss Regulatory Sandbox, Virtual Asset Provider Rules

Uruguay's central bank will discuss a regulatory sandbox and virtual asset provider rules. The Financial Services Superintendency approved an authorization framework in July, and the online process for covered firms began Sept. 1. The discussions aim to shape oversight for digital assets in the country.
