Contractor blames Lincoln Memorial pool problems on itself, not vandals: Report

Atlantic Industrial Coatings, the contractor behind the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool renovation, says mistakes during repair caused the pool’s new blue liner to peel and blister. Workers did not apply enough primer in some areas, and two liner materials were incompatible, according to a new report.
