The Kalshi court ruling backs states over its sports-event contracts

A federal appeals court ruled against Kalshi, siding with Ohio and Tennessee, finding that its sports-event contracts resemble gambling more than finance. The 6th US Circuit Court of Appeals decision said Kalshi failed to prove the contracts qualify as something other than gambling.
