Zcash-Style Privacy Coming To Bitcoin? Researchers Weigh In

Researchers led by Clara Shikheman proposed a method for private Bitcoin transfers that doesn't require changes to Bitcoin's consensus rules. The method combines mixer logic similar to Tornado Cash with zero-knowledge proofs to hide sender, receiver, and amount. Starknet founder Eli Ben-Sasson publicly supported the idea.
