BTCPay Server alerted on a critical vulnerability in Bitcoin Lightning nodes being actively exploited. The self-hosted crypto payment processor recommended upgrading to version 2.4.2 or turning off the service to avoid loss of funds. The Bitcoin Red Team found and disclosed the vulnerability.
