Ebola Disrupts Congo’s Childhood Vaccinations, Maternity and Health Services

Routine healthcare has been severely disrupted in communities hardest hit by Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where fear of infection and pressure on hospitals are stymieing pediatric immunizations and discouraging patients from seeking maternity and other basic care. The outbreak is compounding existing health challenges in the region.
