Albuquerque passed O-26-49 on September 10, banning crypto ATMs and cashier-facilitated crypto transactions within city limits. Councilor Stephanie W. Telles said 90% of these transactions were tied to fraud. The ordinance imposes a blanket ban on crypto ATMs in the city.
