Vice President Vance said Thursday that foreign workers at Microsoft can no longer apply for U.S. permanent resident status through the employer-based PERM program, after accusing the company of abusing the process. Microsoft has been suspended from the permanent labor certification program, which allows companies to sponsor foreign workers for green cards.
