Montana Democrat refuses to drop out, likely improving GOP’s Senate chances

Democratic Senate candidate Alani Bankhead said Monday she will not drop out of a Montana race to succeed retiring Sen. Steve Daines. Bankhead, an Air Force officer, stated, "I'll never bow down," during a press conference. Her decision makes it more difficult for Independent candidate Seth Bodnar to defeat GOP nominee Kurt Alme.
