Worker injured during White House construction rescued by emergency crew

An emergency crew rescued a construction worker from scaffolding on the White House North Portico Monday after an injury dispatch. The worker was placed in a stretcher and ambulance, then taken to the hospital, the Washington Post reported. The White House did not comment.
