A federal judge has paused Paramount Skydance's takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery with a 14-day restraining order, responding to a lawsuit from a dozen state attorneys general on antitrust grounds. California District Judge Araceli Martínez-Olguín set a preliminary injunction hearing for Aug. 3 to determine if the pause needs to be extended.
