Van Orden faces Cooke in rematch for battleground Wisconsin House seat

Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-Wis.) is projected for a rematch against fundraiser Rebecca Cooke (D) for a battleground House seat in Wisconsin, according to Decision Desk HQ. Cooke, who lost to Van Orden in 2024 by just over 11,000 votes, fended off a challenge from a former Eau Claire City Council member in the primary.
