Bitcoin Quantum Security: 6.9M BTC at Risk, Galaxy Bets $5M

A study suggests roughly one-third of all Bitcoin mined could be vulnerable to a sufficiently powerful quantum computer. Galaxy Digital committed $5 million to a Bitcoin Quantum Readiness Initiative to fund developers addressing this risk. The initiative aims to close the vulnerability window before it opens.
