Strategy Buys More Bitcoin and Retires Nearly 2M STRC Shares

Michael Saylor's Strategy expanded its bitcoin treasury to 848,250 BTC after acquiring another 250 BTC for approximately $21.5 million. The purchase, disclosed Monday, Oct. 12, 2026, followed Saylor's Sunday teaser. Strategy also repurchased $192.4 million of its STRC preferred stock, while combined U.S. dollar reserves and cash holdings stood at an undisclosed amount.
