Space X and Tesla exploring merger, CEO Elon Musk says

Elon Musk said Tuesday that SpaceX and Tesla have formed special committees of independent directors to explore a potential merger, calling it "a good idea" but noting a deal is not certain. He said 50% of Tesla shareholders would need to approve it, a high hurdle. Analyst Gene Munster estimates a 95% chance of a deal within two years.
