DeFi total value locked slipped to $75.12 billion as of Aug. 7, down 0.3% from $75.31 billion a week earlier, according to DefiLlama. The figure is roughly 34% below the year-to-date level of about $114.45 billion. Ethereum maintained dominance as investors favored liquid, battle-tested venues over higher-beta ecosystems.
