New York declares measles disaster emergency

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul declared a statewide disaster emergency over a measles outbreak that has sickened more than 100 people. As of Oct. 3, the state reported 108 cases, with most occurring outside New York City. Seven cases were in the city, prompting the emergency declaration.
