Ethereum Staking Statistics 2026: Yields, Validators, Queues and Institutions

Ethereum staking grew in 2026 even as prices fell and yields dropped. About 43.7 million ETH is now staked, or 35.8 percent of supply, based on data checked on 5 October 2026. Most of the growth came from institutions. Treasury companies, ETFs and custodians now hold more than a third of staked ETH.
